Contributors

The real strength of Black History Conversations is the extraordinary range of people who have shared their knowledge with us.

Our contributors include historians, academics, community researchers, writers, artists, poets, educators, heritage professionals and people researching their own families and communities.

Some are internationally recognised specialists; others are sharing important local research or lived experience for the first time. BHC values both.

This section introduces the people who have contributed to our conversations and provides links to their work wherever possible.

We particularly want to encourage new and emerging researchers and younger contributors alongside established voices.
